Actor Zayed Khan started his Bollywood journey with his first movie Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne alongside Esha Deol and went on to be a part of movies like Mai Hoon Na, Wada, Dus and Cash. Zayed Khan is the son of actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan and Zarine Katrak. He is the brother of interior designer Sussanne Khan who was previously married to actor Hrithik Roshan† Zayed last appeared in the 2015 movie Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene and is likely to announce his comeback movie soon.

Despite having a movie-like background, Zayed didn’t gain fame overnight. Speaking of his filming journey, in 2017 he told Telly Chakkar: “So much has changed now; when we made films, it happened with a lot of chance and luck. There was no definite schedule as such. It used to be like ‘I want to be at the being the best makers, talented people, working with them and making films.’ “It was an industry of great camaraderie. There was no professional bitterness and it seeped in today. That said, I was very young and did impulsive things.”

“I don’t think I can blame anyone. Why wasn’t I there the whole time (top of his career) … I looked at it (industry dynamics) like this would be there forever, but it was my lack of discipline in reality,” he explained why he may not have been his best version.

Zayed turned 42 on Tuesday. He will next be featured in an upcoming movie, which will be released on an OTT platform. He confirmed the development, telling Hindustan Times: “I can tell you that I have just finished a film. It is all ready and many OTT platforms are in talks to finalize it. It will not be released in theaters, but unfortunately I can’t say much about the film yet, I had a great time doing it.”
