Sylvester Stallone, known for giving multiple hits to Hollywood, made his entry into Bollywood with a cameo in the 2009 film Kambakkht Ishq which also featured Akshay Kumar and Karena Kapoor. Although the actor has not appeared in any other Hindi film, his affiliation with Bollywood has persisted and he even decided to promote the 2018 film Race 3. Sylvester Stallone couldn’t recognize it though Salman Khan while trying to promote him and his film. While talking about Salman, Sylvester finally shared Bobby Deol’s character poster, who was also part of the film. The action-crime film starred Salman in the lead role and Bobby in a supporting role.
It started when Salman shared the announcement for Sylvester’s movie Creed 2 on his social media account. Sylvester tried to give something back and promote Salman and his upcoming movie Race 3. He accidentally shared Bobby’s poster instead of Salman, captioning it: “Best wishes to the very talented movie hero SALMAN KHAN for his next movie RACE 3! @salmankhan.” The veteran actor tried to correct the mistake and shared Salman’s photo after he deleted Bobby’s, but was still skeptical that he chose the right one.
Sylvester posted a zoomed in photo of Salman from the latest Race 3 poster, writing: “OK EVERYONE let’s try this AGAIN, good luck to the very talented SALMAN KHAN with his upcoming new movie RACE 3! (if this is wrong I give up!) LOL.”
Salman has never hesitated to express his admiration for Sylvester. In 2015, he had called the actor ‘Aapke hero ka hero’. He also wished Sylvester on his 75th birthday last July, wishing him “good health, love and happiness.” Sylvester will celebrate his 76th birthday on Wednesday June 6.
