Tom Cruise Turned 60 on July 3 and the actor celebrated his birthday in style while attending the 2022 British Grand Prix while supporting his good friend Lewis Hamilton. The actor saw a big smile flash as he greeted fans during his presence and he also had a great time with his fellow VIP participants at the game.

For his birthday outing, the Top Gun: Maverick star kept it casual as he stepped out with a casual light blue polo shirt and jacket and paired it with his signature aviator sunglasses and dark pants. Cruise was seen expressing his support for Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton as he told Martin Brundle for Sky Sports: “Lewis always. He is a good friend of mine. I hope he has a great day.”

The actor was also seen attending Adele’s concert at the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival in London for his birthday. The singer’s performance had a star-studded turnout, as Cruise included Natalie Portman, Idris Elba and the cast of Heartstopper.

In addition to his birthday, Tom recently had other big news to celebrate as his film Top Gun: Maverick passed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office, as reported by Variety. It became the actor’s first film to reach the big milestone, after his last worldwide earner was 2018’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which grossed $791.1 million. After hitting the huge milestone, Tom took to Twitter to thank the public, writing: “To all the films being released, to all the studios and to all the exhibitors: congratulations. To the public: thank you for taking the plunge and giving us allowed you to enjoy yourself. See you at the cinema.”
