Actor Sara Ali Khan has spoken of how she “continues to evolve” and “surprises herself” in life. In a new interview, Sara said she is the same person who visits a temple and also wears bikinis. She also revealed that she hates living more than a month away from her actor mother Amrita Singh during the filming. The actor also remembered her summer vacations with her parents – mother Amrita and father Saif Ali Khan, when they were supposed to watch ‘The Broadway’. Sara also mentioned how she discussed books with Saif. Although he recommended Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, she had also “read many classics” during her studies at Columbia University, from Homer’s Odyssey to Dante’s Inferno. Sara also revealed that when she told Saif about the books, he was intrigued and she started reading.

In an interview with Elle India, Sara said: “Sara Ali Khan is constantly evolving. The girl who goes to a temple is the same girl who wears bikinis on the beach, is the same girl who hates being away from her mother for 45 days live while shooting. She will continue to surprise you, because she continues to surprise herself.”

She also recalled the time she spent with her parents: “Every summer I went with my parents to the Broadway and London Theater versions of The Lion King.
