Ranbir Kapoor is one of the biggest movie stars that Bollywood has revered. He has been in the entertainment industry for nearly a decade and a half and has been a part of some of its most iconic films such as Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Barfi, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Rajneeti and most recently Sanju. He will be back on the white screens after more than 4 years with Shamshera and has also been actively working on other feature film projects, due out next year.
Ranbir Kapoor shared his own photos in a session with Mashable India and it was quite pleasant to hear Ranbir talking about them. After a series of photos that he inquired about, a photo of him with his father Rishi Kapoor showed up. Ranbir said the photo was when they performed the iconic song Om Shanti Om while promoting their then-upcoming movie Besharam. Ranbir said, “Just working with him, being around him, my favorite actor, was unforgettable.” He said he saw him as his father during his childhood but when he started working in movies he started to understand his worth as an actor, what he has done in cinema, what is his contribution, the way he used to act for songs , as he used to romance and more. He said there was no one like him. He continued, saying that his father worked at a time when there were a lot of stylized and action heroes. He was spontaneous and enjoyed a glorious career spanning over 40 years.
Ranbir then came back to describe the photo. He said dancing with him was unforgettable. He went on to say that his father danced with his face. His mother always told him that his footwork was always wrong and he always stamped on her shoes. But his face was so expressive that no one really looked at his footwork.
Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Yash Raj Film’s historical epic, shamshera, which stars Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor together. The movie is directed by Karan Malhotra. After that, he will star in Dharma Productions’ mythological fantasy drama Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring his wife Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. He will be seen next year in the romantic drama with Shraddha Kapoor, directed by Luv Ranjan on Holi, and then he will finish his year with Animal, from Sandeep Vanga Reddy, one of the most anticipated movies of next year. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna and is slated to release on Independence Day 2023.
