It was a double celebration for Rajinikanth yesterday. In addition to commemorating India’s 75th Independence Day, the Thalaiva has also spent 47 years in the entertainment industry. On both occasions, the superstar and his daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shared some photos on Instagram, “76 years of independence that brings sacrifice, struggle and strength.. #proudindian 47 years of #rajinism…pure hard work and dedication! proud of him born #proud daughter .”
In the photos, he was standing against a wall with “47 years of Rajinism” written on it. Rajinikanth marked 75 years of pride and wrote a note about the importance of the day on Twitter. “This is the 75th year of independence for India…our motherland. As a sign of respect and as an expression of our unity…to all the lakhs of people who have suffered untold struggle and misery…pain and humiliation. .. for all those many thousands of people who have selflessly sacrificed their lives for this freedom.. for all those freedom fighters, martyrs and leaders.. let us honor and salute them with gratitude.. beyond caste, religion and politics.. let’s move on pass our Indian national flag to our next generation of children and young people to be proudly displayed outside our homes, offices and workplaces Let’s celebrate the great Indian 75th Independence Day with pride… Let our national flag fly everywhere as we salute them.
