Tollywood actor R Nayarana Murthy’s mother Chittema passed away today at the age of 93. She breathed her last in Rautulapudi Mandal Mallampeta in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The last rites will be held tomorrow morning in the presence of relatives. Chittema had been struggling with many health problems for years.

Many political and film brotherhood members mourn the death of the actor’s mother. They took to social media and paid tribute to the deceased. Fans also expressed their deepest condolences to R Narayana Murthy and his family.

R Narayana Murthy is not only an actor but has also made his mark in Telugu film industry as a producer and director.

Born in the village of Mallampeta in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, R Narayana Murthy dreamed of becoming an actor since childhood. During his student days at Narayanamurthy Maharani College, he took the presidency and participated in student movements.

Forced by his love for movies, he later moved to Madras and after enduring many hardships, he finally entered the industry.

To date, R Narayana Murthy has starred in more than 35 movies as an actor. He’s made a name for himself as the star of the crowd, who doesn’t care about the hit or flop status of his films. During his career as a filmmaker, he has led such communist enterprises as Dandora, Lal Salaam, the Red Army, Urumanadira and Cheemaladandu.
