Re-sharing the post, R Madhavan tweeted: “There must have been a real reason and cause. Please be calm and show some love people. Humble request. The show will be soon. All the love (rocket, folded hands and red heart emojis) .”

In the videos, the people spoke in Hindi and Bengali while saying how their time had been wasted as they waited for the screening to resume and management roamed around. In one of the clips, the official said in Bengali that one of their employees went to get the IMP card from the “nearest city center, Salt Lake.” In the clip, people also asked for money back. The video was posted with the caption, “Why did Inox single-handedly stop the show during the #RocketryTheFilm movie? @ActorMadhavan.”

In another clip, several moviegoers demanded an immediate refund of their money. A heated argument ensued and the official asked one person to wait in a line outside the theater to get a refund. The caption read: “I couldn’t even watch the climax of this movie because of INOX’s mistake. Even they didn’t refund the money. Shame about Swabhumi @INOXMovies.”

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, a biopic, is Madhavan’s directorial debut. In the film he played the role of a former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan† The film is based on the life of the scientist who was falsely accused of espionage in 1994. The film was released in theaters on July 1. Appreciated by celebrities and fans alike, the film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19.

Earlier this month, actor Rajinikanth praised the film and wrote a note on Twitter. “The movie ‘Rocketry’ is a must see movie, especially for young people.
