Alia Bhatti tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor in April 2022 and on Monday she announced that the couple is expecting their first child. In the picture we see a smiling Krishna and Raj posing for the camera. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni left a heart emoji in the comments of the post. One fan commented, “They’re looking after you from heaven.” Another said: “We miss them.” To congratulate Neetu, they wrote: “God bless you both RanAlia and many congratulations to Neetu ji.” While one wrote, “A beautiful legacy”, many others sent Alia and Ranbir best wishes.

On Monday, Alia announced her pregnancy on Instagram by sharing a photo of herself and Ranbir from their ultrasound session. She captioned it: “Our baby…coming soon.” The photo shows a happy Alia looking at the ultrasound monitor.

Alia and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April, after dating for nearly 5 years. Ranbir is the grandson of the late actor Raj Kapoor, who was one of the industry’s most celebrated actors and filmmakers. He married Krishna Kapoor in 1946. They had five children — Randhir Kapoor, Ritu Nanda, Rishi Kapoor, Rima Jain and Rajiv Kapoor. Rishi, Ritu and Rajiv are no more.

Raj Kapoor’s first on-screen appearance was at age nine. He starred in the 1935 film Inquilab. His big break in the industry in a starring role was in the film Neel Kamal (1947) alongside madhubala† In 1948 he founded his own studio: RK Films.
