The title song Kal Ho Naa Ho was sung by Sonu Nigam. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Jaya Bachchan, Sushma Seth and Reema Lagoo. In an online interaction, Shah Rukh had commented on a video of a little girl crying as he watched him die on screen, saying he never showed his death scene to his children Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan. He wrote, “I never showed my kids the ending of Kal Ho Naa Ho. Karan did a special edit where the movie ends before I fly away.”
In an interview with Hindustan Times last year, Nikkhil Advani revealed that even Shah Rukh hated his death scene. “Shah Rukh absolutely hated the death scene of Kal Ho Naa Ho. He kept saying, ‘You are too disrespectful and you don’t respect it,'” he said.
