Kangana reposted the photos to her Instagram Stories, praising the athletes for making India proud. Mohit Grewal defeated Johnson 5-0 in the bronze medal match. He took the medal in just 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Bajrang Punia successfully defended his title and won his second consecutive gold medal in CWGs. While Deepak Punia took his first medal in CWG and he managed it with gold in his cat. Sakshi Malik also returned at her best, claiming gold to add more to India’s total. Anshu Malik won the silver after losing the last match, while Divya Kakran and Mohit Grewal took the bronze medals in their respective categories.

India has now won six medals in wrestling on Friday – three golds, one silver and two bronze. So far, Indian athletes have won 26 medals – nine gold, eight silver and nine bronze – at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The 2022 Commonwealth Games started on July 28 in Birmingham and will last until August 8.
