About how social media exposure affects the chances of achieving stardom, Kajol told Pinkvilla in an interview: “The influx of people on social media has diluted it. The only people who were famous were the only people on the screen. big screen. Now you can be famous for a number of things – the way you comb your hair, nails etc. There are so many ways to be famous these days. Fame itself has become a common pronoun.”

She added: “Most people spend their whole lives on social media doing just one thing 24 hours a day. Half the time they are on screen, the other half on social media.” She claimed she wasn’t criticizing them, adding: “I really admire that they are able to put in so much time and energy, but it dilutes you (stardom). When you can see someone on social media, why bother? then go to the screen to view them.”

Kajol recently attended Gupt’s special screening as the film was completed 25 years after its release. Her opponent Bobby Deol and director Rajiv Rai also joined her at the event. She has also completed her 30 years in the film industry.
