The recent Supreme Court ruling to strike down Roe v Wade iIn the US that protected abortion rights, several citizens are outraged. Celebrities have spoken out against the move and recently Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also expressed his views on the same at his London concert while addressing the audience during the same.

Speaking to the public during his London performance, Armstrong hinted that he is ready to move to the UK. He said: “I renounce my citizenship. I come here. He added: “There is just too much stupidity in the world to go back to that miserable excuse for a country. Oh, I’m not kidding. You’re going to get a lot from me in the coming days,” via USA Today.

Armstrong’s response to the ruling comes after Olivia Rodrigo recently took the stage at the Glastonbury festival and dedicated Lily Allen’s song “F**k You” to Supreme Court justices for their decision. Billie Eilish, who headlined Glastonbury on Friday, also dedicated the performance of her song Your Power to the SCOTUS judges who voted to overthrow Roe v. Wade.

And today is a real, really a dark day for women in the US, I’m just going to say that because I can’t think about it any longer at this point.”
