Anil Kapoor is appreciated for his performance of Bheem Singh in the Raj Mehta directed Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The actor insists he was excited about the film from the moment he heard the script and is happy to be appreciated for the performance. Asked about finding the right chemistry with the younger generation of actors, the current one being Varun Dhawan, the actor says, “I’ve done so many comedies with so many actors from different generations. I always look forward to scripts where I’ve built up chemistry. “
Anil shares that there is a long list of actors he wants to work with in the future. “I also want to work with newer actors. I would like to make a comedy movie with Aamir Khan, rather than step into that serious space. It would be interesting anyway,” he wonders. While wanting to work with one Khan, he has lined up a movie with another. Anil is gearing up for No Entry 2 with Salman Khan, which is expected to start early next year. It is produced by SKF with Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.
Anil confirms that No Entry 2 is in the works. “People are looking forward to No Entry 2. It’s going to be fantastic and I’m looking forward to returning to the franchise. Anees (Bazmee) and Salman will be deciding the shooting timeline shortly,” he added.
Recently, Firoz Nadiadwala had talked in an interview about his plans to spin a universe from Welcome and Hera Pheri. Does Anil feel like it? He signed: “To be honest, whether it’s Welcome or No Entry – I’m just an actor. The producers and studios have to decide and I’m always with them.” Keep an eye on Pinkvilla for more updates.
