Kartik Aaryan has not only achieved success with the box office performance of his movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, but has also earned more respect among his peers. Arjun Kapoor recently called him a “savior” when he praised the trailer for Arjun’s upcoming movie Ek Villain Returns. Kartik shared the Ek Villain Returns trailer on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Superb trailer. He kills it with the villains.” He tagged the star cast of Ek Villain Returns including John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in the post, adding: “@mohitsuri sir your world is fantastic as always.”
Arjun responded to Kartik’s post to him, saying, “The Savior has spoken.” Kartik responded to his comment, saying, “Pass the torch.”
Ek Villain Returns, directed by Mohit Suri and jointly produced by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms, is expected to hit theaters on July 29. It is the sequel to the 2014 film, Ek Villain, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
The trailer opens with an official presentation about the serial killer Rakesh Mahadkar, played by actor Riteish Deshmukh in the 2014 original, he says eight years later a new villain has arrived targeting women who don’t reciprocate the love of their stalker. . The identity of the real villain is not revealed. While John is cast opposite Disha, Arjun sees Tara romanticizing in the trailer.
Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 made 262 crore gross worldwide. It also has stars Kiara Advani, Tabu and Rajpal Yadav. It ran in theaters for about six weeks before landing on Netflix. Producer Bhushan Kumar even donated Kartik India’s first McLaren GT worth 4.7 crore for the film’s success.
Kartik will now be seen untitled in Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy and Sajid Nadiadwala.
