Actor Tara Sutaria treated her Ek Villain Returns co-star Arjun Kapoor to a delicious homemade Parsi meal. She cooked the meal all by herself for the actor and his sister Anshula Kapoor. In response to the sweet surprise, Arjun shared a glimpse of the spread, writing, “Chef Sutaria killed it with her hidden skills!” (Read also: Ek Villain Returns checkout day 4 collection)
Tara’s meal for Arjun Kapoor and Anshula included dishes such as mutton dhaasak and Moroccan-style chicken. In addition to the food, she sent them a note that read: “Dear Arjun and Anshula, I know you love food as much as we do at home, so here’s some Parsi mutton dhaasak and my special Moroccan mint chicken recipe that I made myself cooked. Eat well!!! Arjun, eat slowly.”
Anshula reviewed Tara’s food on her Instagram Stories: “The best dhansak we’ve had. Thank you @tarasutaria! @arjunkapoor and I are in heaven for good food.” To this Tara replied, “Cooked with (heart emoji) for you guys.” “Eat well and then take a nap!!!” she added.
Tara and Arjun first teamed up in EK Villain Returns, which also featured John Abraham and Disha Patani. The film has so far received lukewarm reactions at the box office. After opening to a decent start of 7 crore on Friday, the film has seen some growth over the weekend. On Monday, the net gathered 3 crore and made a total turnover of 26.56 crore according to film trading analyst Taran Adarsh.
The Hindustan Times review of Ek Villain returns read: “There is a fight in the Metro. There is a fight in an old building. There is a fight on a busy road. But why are they fighting? The question lingers for a long time while watching Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. Touted as a spiritual successor to his 2014 film Ek Villain, this sequel is much more painful, pointless, and psychotic. It’s clear that it doesn’t take just a bad story to make a subpar film. Returns is much more that contributed to the end result, slow writing, lazy directing, half-baked characters and mindless twists and turns all coming together for what could have been a nail-biting thriller, a rather dull watch.
