According to a report several years ago, Angelina told an FBI agent that: Brad Pitt “physically and verbally assaulted her and their children” while on board the plane. An FBI agent’s notes show that Brad allegedly took Angelina to the back of the plane, grabbed her by the shoulders, and yelled things like, “You’re ruining this family.”
Angelina had claimed that another physical altercation had taken place on that same flight. As a result, she sustained injuries, including to her elbow. Angelina also said that Brad poured beer on her as he had been drinking at the time. However, Brad’s team has denied all allegations, according to reports.
After a special agent met with the US Attorney’s Assistant and concluded that they would not file a criminal charge, Angelina, in order to obtain documents related to the federal investigation against Brad, anonymously filed a lawsuit against the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), Variety reported.
Previously, Brad was reportedly under investigation in 2016 for child abuse by both the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services following an incident involving his family’s private plane. He reportedly got physical with their son, Maddox, after the then 15-year-old intervened in a fight between Brad and Angelina.
At the time, Brad’s team released a statement to People magazine denying that he had hurt his son. The statement read: “He is emphatic that it has not reached the level of physical abuse, that no one has been physically harmed. He has not punched his child in the face in any way. He has not done that; he is emphatically involved in that.” He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation got out of hand.” According to Variety, the Hollywood couple broke up after the incident and Brad publicly gave up drinking, and no charges have been filed against him.
